The A&K SVD rifle is said to have high-quality construction and accurate replication of the original. While partial disassembly mirrors the real SVD, certain components, like the buttstock and fore-end, can be swapped with genuine firearm parts. The left side of the receiver features a dovetail guide for mounting domestic optics or Picatinny rail adapters. The rifle is compatible with A&K and Classic Army mechanical and bunker magazines but not with those from CYMA, Real Sword, LCT, Snow Wolf, or AIM TOP due to differing ball receiver neck placements. The receiver boasts a Dovetail mount for PSO-1 optics or C39 Picatinny rails. The spring-operated rifle requires manual cocking before each shot. Its tactical and technical characteristics include an initial ball velocity of approximately 120 m/s and a magazine capacity of 190 BBs.
