Pheas Airsoft Airsoft VZ.61 Skorpion Disassembly

Pheas Airsoft provides a detailed guide on disassembling and reassembling a VZ.61 Skorpion AEP, applicable to the Well, TM, and JG versions. The disassembly process begins with removing the stock via a springy lock mechanism, followed by detaching the upper receiver after releasing a grub screw and pin. The barrel assembly is twisted off, and screws are removed to detach the pistol grip, granting access to internal components. The gearbox is carefully extracted, considering wire connections, before disassembling the mag catch system, selector plate, and trigger mechanism. Upon opening the gearbox, a four-gear system is revealed, allowing for the careful removal of gears, an anti-reversal latch, and other internal parts.

For reassembly, the gears, anti-reversal latch, and tap plate spring are reinstalled within the gearbox, ensuring proper alignment. The piston and cylinder assembly are positioned, and the gearbox is securely closed before reattaching the air nozzle. The pistol grip and selector plate are fixed back into place, followed by the reinstallation of the gearbox into the lower receiver and the mag release system. The upper receiver is reattached, aligning the selector, and the stock is secured back into position, completing the process.
