Airsoft Headquarters: Spring Swapping A VFC Avalon

Airsoft Headquarters talk about changing the springs of a VFC Avalon. With quick spring change already a feature in most AEGs, is the feature a convenient one to do with Avalon or just the same with the rest of the competition... "When it comes to swapping the internal springs on these rifles it is VERY tricky. While the VFC Avalons do feature a quick spring change system on the gearbox but of the Avalon series, only the MP5s, MCX, and MPX are going to feature a TRUE quick spring change system. So that means that if you have a Caliber, Saber, 416, M27, Sopmod, PDW, MK18, or other Avalon systems the gearbox needs to be taken away from the lower receiver to gain access to the spring guide rod that holds the internal spring which dictates the velocity. And no, changing a battery is not going to change velocity; a battery will only change the RPS (Rounds Per Second). Why would people want to change springs? Indoor fields will require that players use guns that are shooting below a certain velocity and I havent seen any Avalon shoot below 380 Feet Per Second out of the box haha

Also, this is in the 5 Minute Fix playlist because it does show how to 'fix' velocity even though it is well beyond the 5 minute requirement."
