Robinson Armament Company just updated their XCR family of weapons with the XCR-M that does away with the skeletal stock of the original XCR and replaced it with a folding stock. Also, the XCR-M was specifically designed for the 7.62mm NATO (.308) and the barrel lengths can be changed. Furthermore, it has created an online "design your own XCR-M" with their M-Builder, allowing you to configure the XCR-M that suits your needs.

The new folding stock is also adjustable in length, and with this new stock, the XCR-M almost looks like the FNH SCAR-H at a glance. Since it's also modular, the XCR-M can be be configured for CQB, carbine, or as DMR. They claim that barrel and caliber changes can be done in under 5 minutes.

The XCR-M will be available in black, flat dark earth, and olive drab colors and comes with two variants as described by Robinson Arms:

XCR-M Standard

The XCR-M Standard was designed to fire cartriges based on the 7.62 NATO (.308 Win.) round.  It has a 20" long upper receiver.   The Standard Upper Receiver accepts the following barrel lengths:  16", and 18.6".  The barrels are available in a variety of twists in either a heavy or light contour.

XCR-M Mini

The XCR-M Mini was designed to fire cartriges based on the 7.62 NATO (.308 Win.) round.  It has an 18.5" long upper receiver.   The Mini Upper Receiver accepts the following barrel lengths:  13", 14.7", and 16".  The barrels are available in a variety of twists in either a heavy or light contour.

M-Builder

The M-Builder is an online DIY customisation service provided for by the company. You can select the colors, size, Upper Length, Barrel Caliber and Length, Barrel Contour, and Muzzle Device. And while you are redesigning the XCR-M, you can view it various angles and size. Furthermore, you can add a sight and rail covers to it.

There's no pricing yet announced by Robinson Arms are now taking pre-orders for it. As to when an airsoft version which would probably be made by Echo1 USA, we still need to wait an announcement for them. For now, you can watch the video of it being fired:
