When in Japan, get to the Agitating Point

Logan

It's actually rare to hear reports about airsoft skirmish sites in Japan. Well, we mean reported in the English Language. But we do appreciate the fact with all the language tools available online, we can make sense of some reports in Japanese. Especially with Hyperdouraku coming out with excellent reports on the Japanese airsoft scene and Operators of Popular Airsoft deeply thank the people behind the company for allowing us to use their reports for our English language readers.

Their latest report is about an indoor airsoft facility called "Agito - Agitating Point" which is made to look like a hideout of gangsters; a "drug den" that is run by "Joe King" who manages the airsoft game site. The mood and feel of the site makes you agitated, giving you the sense that you will do something good for society by raiding a drug den of dangerous gangsters. The facility comes equipped that would really make a drug lord really proud --- a drug manufacturing facility, an entertainment area for the gangsters' for friends and mistresses, an interrogation room for those about to rat the gang out (and with video equipment to record confessions), communications room, armory for the gang's security group, a restuarant/cafeteria for the gang members, and the gold room where "Joe King" keeps his precious gold bars that can be assumed to be profits from his drug trade.

Infiltrating the place with a team could bring a lot of complications, there are many obstacles such as holes in the wall where someone could just spring out and shoot at you.  You may be given a time-bound mission as there's a bomb that's set to detonate when the time runs out, blowing everything up and everyone inside, and also the evidence away.

There are lighted hallways and darkened corridors, that Hyperdouraku strongly recommends the use of taclights when going inside. You can collect evidence such as cases of cash and drugs, and if you have the element of surprise, may just catch "Joe King" sniffing coke unaware that you're there to apprehend him.

It's a really well-designed airsoft game place and should provide some great challenges to any serious team. If you're in Japan, and want to do some exciting airsoft CQB games, you can just take the train to Otsuki, Yamanashi Prefecture, and join in the fun.

The site just opened this month, and the review from Hyperdouraku would want you to take that next plane to Tokyo and do battle against "Joe King" and his cohorts. Just make sure you bring JPY5,000 (US$60) game fee to play from 1000H to 1700H. Ammos and refreshments are available onsite.
