Yes, you read it right. For almost three years of non-stop news and information publishing, We are closing operations due to the stress of finding airsoft news and information, overloaded work schedules, the Chinese government lumping us with Google and thus, we are blocked from the Mainland.  After much deliberations, reflection, and considerations, we are closing operations.

We would like to thank you all for making us one of the most visited airsoft news and information website in the world. Our readers' emails and comments have always encouraged us in doing our best, thus our heartfelt thanks is mainly for you.

But we are not forgetting our sponsors, advertisers and partners for sending us items for review, giving us the lifeline to soldier on. We also give our million thanks to them. Without them, airsoft would cease to exist.

To our operators, who at one time or another, provided as valuable stories, reviews, tidbits, tips, and even doing on site assignments without asking for much compensation, but rather motivation to keep them going, our hats off to you guys for helping us provide one of the great airsoft websites. It has been a wonderful our experience. Let's have beer this year altogether, to reminisce what we have done over the years.

Starting tomorrow, 02 April 2010, Popular Airsoft shall stop providing news and stories. We hope you enjoy the news we provide you today.
