Laylax Krytac Owners’ Meeting Remote

Laylax has been hosting a Krytac Owners’ Meeting Japan for four years with the last in-person meeting held in 2019 with the 2020 edition cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. For this year, instead of cancelling the event, given that the Covid-19 situation remains unpredictable, they did the next best thing --- holding it virtually and thus, the 5th time that the Krytac Owners’ Meeting, they called it the Krytac Owners Meeting Remote that was held last 8th of October.

Always a fun event where owners of Krytac AEGs get to meet and greet each other as well as representatives of Laylax and Krytac for one day, where there is food, games, raffles, and even meet airsoft celebrities in Japan and from overseas. Even RedWolf Airsoft and Evike.com grace this event ever since it started.

For the Krytac Owners Meeting Remote, the Laylax’s Managing Director Koji Nomura (“No. 63”) invited Osumi Mama (“Osmi”) of PX41, Endcape who is one of the lyricists for the Kamen Rider Zero-One Original Soundtrack , and TV personality Saki Suzuki to help him host the event.

They held raffle prizes, a custom gun contest, got more guests such as Mayazones to join them, and raffled off a custom gun. They also presented the new Krytac P90 AEG, comparing it to other companies’ P90 AEGs.

The event was livestreamed via Zoom and Twitch and for most of us outside of Japan, we can follow the event by watching the videos that were uploaded on YouTube last October 15. For non-Japanese language speakers, this is helpful as YouTube has language captions so those interested in watching the event can follow the discussions and presentations in their own language, if available.

There are five episodes for the YouTube uploads, which you can watch below. If the Covid-19 pandemic dies down next, the Krytac Owners’ Meeting for 2022 will be held in-person again.
