Want A Good Excuse To Travel To Spain? How About This One?

Gungho Cowboy

Airsoft tourism, I think I heard this from our Philippine friends who have wanted to promote tourism in their country through airsoft. One of the good things about being in Europe is the ability to play airsoft in different parts of the continent which are just a short hop from where you are. The European Union itself, with the exception of the Netherlands, is airsoft-friendly, even if notoriously strict on gun ownership.

Thus, the world's largest international airsoft events are found in Europe; one in Sweden (Berget Series), and another in the United Kingdom (Groundzero Weekender). It's easy to invite players from different countries and transport is cheap, whether by car, by train, or by air (especially with budget airlines). Plus, the free movement of people who are citizens of EU member countries makes it even easier for them to go through border controls.

Anyway, we have received an invitation from Club Airsoft Deportivo Andaluz Camaleon (CADA-Camaleon which you should not mistake for Karma Chamelon), an airsoft club located in the Andalusian region of Spain about their upcoming Airsoft Fair where they want to promote airsoft to a good number of people. Whether you are an airsoft retailer, manufacturer, distributor, or service provider, and most especially, an airsoft player, CADA-Camaleon welcomes you with open arms.

The Airsoft Trade Fair will be held on the 2nd to the 4th of September 2011 in Tocina, Spain. Tocina is a little bit northwest of Seville, Spain which means that you will bathe in the warm Spanish sun, and just further south, either the Atlantic Ocean or the Mediterranean Sea. Click on the map below to see it in Google Maps:

If you plan to become an exhibitor, you can have a booth to present your products or services. They expect a good number of attendees and confirmed the participation of press, radio, and TV which should give you further media mileage in the area. You can contact the following email the following: [email protected] or [email protected]. There will be toilets, bars that serve food, and lighting.

For visitors, individual airsoft players and airsoft teams, the fair grounds around the exhibit centre will be a camp area with toilets, and showers just outside, but you will need to bring your own camping equipment such as tents. Since this will be an airsoft camp, then what will it be without airsoft games? There will be event competitions for those who are geared up and play with other participants. Participation is actually cheap.

So for those who are interested in becoming an exhibitor or as a visitor, here is the schedule of events as sent in by Miguel Falcon, CADA-Cameleon's President.
