There is whole line up of upcoming first person shooter gamesr, but after watching the official early gameplay trailer of “Unrecord”, it is too early to say but this is probably the most interesting of them all. It is a video game where the scenarios are played out and seen through a police officer’s body cam.

Not exactly a new way at looking at situations since there are shows like “The Rookie” which extensively use footage through body cams, “Unrecord” takes that concept and puts the player in a tactical situation in which decisions will affect the flow of the game.

“Unrecord” is a tactical shooter being developed by DRAMA, a rather very young independent French video game studio established in 2020.

Players in “Unrecord” can expect an immersive and narrative experience. Unrecord features complex dialogues, innovative gameplay mechanics, tough moral dilemmas, and a unique shooting system.

The storyline can be compared to a detective novel or a thriller. The player will have to investigate several criminal cases and confront a diverse cast of characters.

The game’s plot and presentation will be central to the gameplay experience, and players can anticipate a range of gameplay sequences as well as numerous plot twists.

For players of “Ready or Not” this is will be a familiar but the game environment looks so realistic and with a minimalistic HUD, that the player will feel immersed in the game. As described by the game developers.

However, this is mainly a single player game rather than a multiplayer or coop-game as the developers say it will provide a cinematic and realistic experience which balancing a multiplayer will prevent. But the developers also say that is not a simulation game.

Whilst, it is something to look forward to “Unrecord” is still in early stages of development so there are no further details such as release date given that the development studio is still looking for investors and game publishers to help develop and distribute the game. It is not expected to be released this year.
