Time To Show Our Appreciation

Gungho Cowboy

In the past days we have observed Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, and even the 235th of Anniversay of the US Marine Corps (which means that the USMC is older than the United States of America). We have honoured the fallen, the wounded, and the veterans of the countless wars in the name of freedom, king, and country.

As we move past the week, wearing poppies, waving proudly our nations' flags, we need to remember that all the airsoft guns that we have used in the skirmish field, the reenactments that we do, the games that we play, and the gear that we wear all take inspiration from those who have actually fired the guns in anger, worn the uniform proudly, or taken part in battles that either have been forgotten by history, or preserved for posterity for people to celebrate or reverently observe.

Airsoft is the only sport that reminds of us war nowadays. And as such those who appreciate airsoft, also take part in many activities in support of the wounded veterans, whether these wounds are physical or psychological.  We applaud those who organised events in support for Help for Heroes, or for other veterans organisations around the world.

We at Popular Airsoft realise that we need also to recognise the hardwork that are done by many to promote our hobby and sport. So to show our appreciation, we will be working on a project which we cannot tell for now until we have finalised the details.

Stay tuned for announcements. Have a great weekend!
