The Expendables is not getting to be expendable, if movie producers and Sylvester Stallone are concerned, with the release of the third trailer, the third movie carrying the same name, "The Expendables 3" is now set for an August 2014 release. Even before the release of this move, the 4th one is now being worked out with the possibility of Pierce Brosnan and Hulk Hogan joining.

The Expendables 3 pits Ross (Stallone) against his The Expendables co-founder, Stonebanks (Gibson). Previously, Ross was forced to kill Stonebanks but the latter survived and is now a very powerful and ruthless arms dealer who is also bent on destroying The Expandables. Barney is now forced to recruit new and young members for the group to fight the old blood, as some of the members are now greying and need a new generation to continue the organization.

Wesley Snipes is a welcome addition to the group, and I am a fan of this action hero.  Also, Harrison Ford is recruited for this movie and UFC champion, Ronda Rousey, is part of the younger generation of The Expendables. She filmed the movie while training to defend her UFC title.

The trailer shows us promise of more slam bang action, stunts, firefights and fight scenes. It also is a battle between old school and new school, of tried and tested and new technology. This might be a very fun The Expendables movie to watch as I actually missed the second one.

As a star-studded Action Movie,  The Expendables franchise boasts to have the most number of Action Superstars in one movie and apart from the new names I mentioned in the previous paragraph, the new additions are Antonio Banderas, Kelsey Grammer, Kellan Lutz, and Victor Ortiz.

There are two questions with this latest movie installment, will The Expendables overcome Stonebanks group or will Stonebanks survive to try and destroy the group in the future? Will the old guards make way for the new blood to continue the task in The Expendables 4?

Well find out when The Expendables 3 gets released to theaters on the 15th of August 2014.
