This issue has for its cover the Sino-Vietnamese War (Third Indochina War) where Team Hyena depicted PLA soldiers at the frontlines. Also in this issue are their review of the Aloha Shirt, the KAC Standalone Grenade Launcher, Guns & Girls photo spread, Vietnam War 1968 and more.
Our Hong Kong Content Partner, Public Enemy, created this very, very short sneak preview of their upcoming iPad version of their Public Enemy Airsoft e-Zine, making it even more portable since their first issue is just mac and windows friendly. You can then gawk at all the photo goodness wherever you go and if this exploits the Retina display of the new iPad, even better quality reading for you.

Angry Gun is on a rampage, in releasing new products that is. In this latest Public Enemy feed sent in by ARick, they make a comparison between the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa Magazine against the Angry Gun Hi-Capa Gas Magazine using an IPSC race gun. The results show that there's much difference in capabilities between both magazines, the Angry Gun version is just much cheaper than the original Tokyo Marui magazine.
Public Enemy has got two treats for us before the weekend ends. The first one is the WE XDM IPSC Version which follows immediately right after their release of the XDM standard and XDM Compact. The WE XDM IPSC comes with a compensator and a custom magwell for easier reloading times during Action Air Matches.
The Public Enemy guys did a test on the upcoming WE XDM Compact Gas Blowback pistol. In this short test, the blowback seems crisp and with a solid sound on the impact of the BBs on the target. On a close-up on the target, they shots looked to be mainly out of target or not in a tight group for such a distance (or is it due to the camera unable to produce clear footage in lowlight conditions). But for a man-sized target at that distance, it'll do.
These photos that will be part of a story for the Public Enemy Airsoft e-Zine issue no. 2 show Team Hyena of Hong Kong depicting PLA soldiers during the Sino-Vietnamese War (also called as the Third Indochina War) which happened in for a month in 1979. This was the Chinese incursion into Vietnam as a response to their occupation of Cambodia to oust the Khmer Rouge Regime which was an ally of the PRC.
What we see for this year's developments at WE Airsoft are two things. The first one is an entry into the AEG market with the release of their first M4A1 AEG. The second one being going back to where they are known in the first place, which is producing gas blowback pistols. With this being noted, WE is prolific in releasing new models such as their take on the M9 Samurai Edge Biohazard, and Gen 3/Gen 4 G17s/G18Cs, which are immediately followed up by the G19, XDM, and now the F228 which is their take on the SIG Sauer P228.
With the latest release of Glock gas blowback pistols from WE, Public Enemy discloses another immediate follow through from the Taiwanese airsoft manufacturer --- the Glock 19 gas blowback pistol. No details yet when it’s going to be released, but there might be some accessories ready for it and one these was already posted here in the past days.
Some eye-candy and a video for the meantime whilst we all wait.
Public Enemy has posted photos of the upcoming WE Biozhard M9 Gas Blowback Pistol giving us a preview of the quality workmanship. They say that since these preview photos are now more official, they expect that the release date is not far away. Just like the Tokyo Marui version, it has full S.T.A.R.S markings, on the slide and the pistol group, How it will stack up when it gets compared to the TM version? We'll only know when it finally hits the airsoft market.
