If you're in Hong Kong for the whole month of August, you might want to join in the second round of the 2012 eHobby Asia Cup, or just observe and see how the Hong Kong Airsoft Community have airsoft fun. This will be held at the Mega Industrial Building in Kwun Tong, Kowloon, and the game starts at 10am and ends at 5pm. Game fee is HK$50.00 and they have events for your type of airsoft game.

Whistler Peng of Star Rainbow Company (SRC) posted more detailed photos of the SRC SR33 (TT-33) airsoft pistol, giving you an inside look of the product for you to evaluate if the craftsmanship is to your liking. So far, the details are amazing and when it gets released, we look forward to how it performs in the hands of users. So expect it to be released this month.
Uploaded two days ago is this upcoming Vega Force Company (VFC) UMP Gas Blowback SMG showing its single, burst, and auto fire modes. As to when this will be released, no idea yet, but most probably this will be released under the Umarex brand rather than as a direct VFC as VFC seems to be content being an OEM airsoft manufacturer rather than being a recognisable major airsoft brand.
Aaaaahh, my latest hit of Public Enemy is now ready. They have released Issue No. 3 with all the photo goodies that they can provide. Even if you don't read Chinese, the issue should be good enough to understand as it's also heavy in visuals. What's a better way to test an airsoft gun but to abuse it? In this video of Tiger111HK, they subject the Seiko (Bell) AK47 AEG to an 8000 round firing test. It seems that they used a lower capacity magazine given the frequent change of magazine though it would be nice to see how it would empty a high-capacity magazine in one pull of a trigger.
We seem to never run out of news about the upcoming releases of WE for this summer that would surely generate a lot of interests among airsoft players. We know that you have already known about the F228, MK25 (P226 Navy SEAL), F226E2, Glock 19, Glock 23C, XDM Compact, XDM IPSC, and the ACE VD (SVD) Gas Blowbacks. But there are two more that will be released according to Public Enemy:
Our Hong Kong content partner, Public Enemy, are not yet done with the WE ACE VD (SVD) GBB sample that they have on their hands and they put on a 50-metre range test to see how accurate it is. They find the accuracy good enough for an airsoft sniper rifle at that range though it was not mentioned if the sample rifle is the Standard or the Ultimate/Collector version as both versions have real wood furniture.
An update from Public Enemy on the CNC'd steel slide for the WE Glock 18c gas blowback pistol made by Phoenix Airsoft. The pricing is at US$160.00 per set, but it comes with an elegant wooden box which you can use as a cigar box after taking out the kit. This slide can also be used for the Tokyo Marui Glock 18c gas blowback pistol.
Public Enemy and Toy Soldier got together to go over the samples of the new WE SVD Gas Blowback Sniper Rifle samples as they are now in Hong Kong. They got their hands over the Basic and Standard versions. They were able to test fire the rifles, though mainly doing some dry fire to test the recoil and they were impressed. The barrel aluminium allow is very good and similar to the real thing.
Public Enemy give us more photos on the new custom Glock 18C upgrade kit from Phoenix Airsoft as previously reported. This basically was made for the WE Glock 18C gas blowback pistol, and is made of 100% CNC Steel Slide with outer barrel kit. The box you see in the photos is not a case for the pistol, just a cigar box for aesthetic purposes. As to what WE G18C generation, it was not specified so check with the retailers when they have this in stock.
