Yosser was able to get the new Umarex HK417 AEG and this this his take... "This is a great AEG although some will find it pricey, but you do get what you pay for as this AEG exudes quality in every inch. The lack of spare mags may put off some potential purchases but those won’t be long in coming for what is bound to be a classic ‘must have’ for airsofters. The large stock tube gives you plenty of battery options and you wont struggle to change them quickly with the setup they have going.
With the Umarex HK417 made by VFC now in stock at Airsoft GI, Tim does a nice video review of this AEG including externals and breakdown to its internal components. Also G&G finally made their promise of entering the GBBR game with two versions, the M4 Raider and the M4 CQB-R Gas Blowback Rifles. More choices in the GBBR area and that's good.

Landwarrior Airsoft are taking pre-orders of the VFC-made Umarex HK417 AEG Rifle. Price is at £424.99... "The Heckler & Koch 417 AEG is an authentic replica of the .30 caliber "big brother" 416 assault rifle family. This marksman's rifle is lipo ready out of the box and has the distance/accuracy needed to make those long range shots. It has a full metal CNC'd body and rail system that is truly impressive.
For today's update coming from Airsoft GI, they announce a new ETA for the H&K 417 being made by VFC for Umarex/Elite Force Guns. Other updates include the Elite Force M4 RIS CQB-R, Combat Machine RIS Package, A&K part, an action cam from Midland, Magpul kits, and their review of the ICS M4 CXP made by Bob the Axe Man.
Second video about the soon to be released Umarex HK417 AEG that we post about. In this video, Godfather Airsoft's Vince gives an in-depth look for their viewers giving a walkthrough around its externals, checking the velocity, and a trial run in a CQB course. Looks really promising but what really need right now are pricing and actual release date.
crazyNCman is lucky to get his hands on a pre-release copy of the Umarex HK417 AEG which is being made by Vega Force Company (VFC). The magazine is a translucent version showing some dummy rounds inside. This is the beefier brother of the HK416 since it fires the 7.62 round (real steel) but ergonomics wise, they share the same design principles.
