Whilst we always recommend that you buy eye protection coming from tried and tested (read: also more expensive) brands, you can always buy something that you can afford. The most important thing is that they meet the standards such as ANSI Z87.1 and even better if they can meet Mil-Spec standards such as those in the Authorized Protective Eyewear List of the U.S. Military.
