Ascend, for those familiar with the Taiwan-based brand, is known for the DP-17 GBB pistol series that sport the Deadpool look. The brand, via Jia Dyi, has issued a statement regarding copies of its DP-17 design coming out of China and customers might want to know what Ascend has to say about this in the statement below:

Jia Dyi sent in news about the availability of the Ascend Kimber 1911 Black Ice Gas Blowback Pistol. This has flush fit extended magwell with high-contrast ledged fiber optic sights and high undercut trigger guard. It features a new design slide and front (Slide lightening cuts) and with stiplex front strap texture for positive grip. It also comes with stylish backstrap panels.
