A prototype airsoft AEG system known as the MTO Phantom has made a public appearance after roughly a decade of silence. The technology was last reported during a Victory Show in Japan ten years ago, and had largely faded from public awareness since then, leaving many in the airsoft community to assume the project had been abandoned.

The MTO Phantom from BO Manufacture is spotted at the 81st Victory Show Japan hosted by Sams Militariya and it took place last 18 July 2016 in Tokyo. Eric Gautier, co-founder of Magneto Research SAS, and also the CEO of BO Manufacture, was there to present a new airsoft technology which many are keen are excited to know about.
