The question has been answered many times and it is viable option for training. But still, if there are points raised for and against airsoft, then let's hear them. Another video from Tactical Hyve for real steel shooters about training with airsoft as well as how to make airsoft targets... "Retired Navy SEAL Toshiro 'Tosh' Carrington talks about the training value you can get from using airsoft. He also teaches you how to make your own airsoft targets."

It's shot at close range with no time limits and that makes it a perfect drill to do with airsoft...except for the fact that many airsoft pistols with iron sights shoot low at 9-10 feet.

Brett Larkis, a USPSA shooer talks about the various ways real steel shooters can practice on a small budget or lack of ammo... Tactical Hyve talk about the non-lethal training opptions for force-on-force and they include airsoft... Tactical training is of course safer with airsoft and especially being ready for night ops where Night Vision devices will be used, it is always a good option. Poortac556 shows how he practices... "I go over my airsoft gun that I set up specifically for night vision training/practice. Hopefully this is helpful for those who do not have a range that lets them shoot at night. I also give a short review of each airsoft item used."

FNG company talks about airsoft for training in this pocast. Already affirmed by training academies, it does not hurt to hear one more whether in agreement or not... "What's up everyone?!
