Tokyo Marui has reintroduced back into the airsoft market the AK74MN New Generation Recoil and Blowback AEG. This is the first AEG from the Japanese manufacture that has this features when it was first revealed in 2017. Mach Sakai checks the AEG for accuracy using 0.2 and 0.25g BBs at distances of 10 to 40 metres.

The first of the Tokyo Marui New Generation Blowback and Recoil AEG series, the Tokyo Marui AK74MN NEG will be available in the market again starting on the 19th of June 2018. First released in 2007, it is the first AEG with the Version 9 Gearbox that has its own gearset that is not compatible with the Version 3 Gearbox. It comes with a 74-round magazine and has a aluminium diecast lower receiver and a folding stock.
