TAGinn just announced recently that their products would be back again in the U.S.A. The company, known for its training projectiles which for use in airsoft and milsim, has been working for over a year to get approval of their products to be shipped from their EU factory to the other side of The Pond.

However, for customers in the U.S.A., once the products are available at their authorized partners such as Evike.com, Airsoftjunkiez, and MSATO, they will first need to pass a test before they can make aa purchase, especially the pyros. The test is called the Professional TAGinn Operator or P-TOP.

It is a mandatory test, which probably is also part of an agreement before being allowed to sell in the U.S. This is only for U.S. customers and not required in the European Union and other countries where TAGInn products are sold.

Before taking up the test, TAGinn has released two videos for those who will take the test as well as for those interested in what the P-TOP is even if they are not taking or not mandatory for them since they are located outside the U.S. The videos cover their hand grenades such as the FBG-4, AFG-4, AFG-6, TAG-67, TAG-19, and TAG-18; and their 36mm projectiles that are launched with the TAGinn TAG-ML36 launcher such as the Reaper MK2, TAG-25DP MK2, Velum MK2, Pecker MK2, Palladin MK2, and their launcher shells:

Customers will need to pass the test only once and so far after passing, there is no need to renew the P-TOP certification/license for now. The test will be available at the TAGinn USA website and it should be later today. We have no idea how it will be taken and how the certificate/license is issued upon passing.

Still, if this is P-TOP test is about making sure that airsoft players are able to handle the TAGinn projectiles and hand grenades safely and properly, then it is a good program for the benefit of the players as well as TAGinn to be able to sell their products in the USA. As they say, win-win.
