Short article, but something that you should look forward to in the future for an airsoft version. Personally, it's one of my favourite airsoft pistols and I have a developed an attachment to it, especially the TM P226 which is good for airsoft practical shooting. Just recently Sig Sauer announced that they have released the Sig Sauer "Enhanced Elite" models which basically are updates the P226 and the P229-1. With an MSRP of US$1,200 (real steel version), these models still have the same features as the elite models with an improvement on the pistol grip.
