Operation Bad Blood 2014 Set For 20-22 June 2014

OptimusPrime

In one of the longer running events in the US East Coast which Popular Airsoft have been supporting ever since has been started, Operation Bad Blood 2014 is now set for 20-22 June 2014 at Paintball Sports in Plattekill, New York. This event is a big charity event that is consistently growing each year and many players in the New York, New Jersey, and surrounding states look forward to this event.

The Bad Blood series was started by Moondog of Moondog Industries and NYC Airsoft as an airsoft charity event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Evike.com was a major sponsor but since last year has become a co-organiser and the event has become Evike.com's East Coast Appreciation Game. The impact of the active involvement of Evike.com was seen last year --- it was the first time that Bad Blood breached the 1,000 player mark, whereas in the previous years, it was a modest event in terms of participation. For Moondog and the NYC Airsoft members, that means more funds raised for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

This event is also very unique as it's not the standard 1 group versus 1 group as there will be 8 groups battling it out. The Scenario is 6 warring factions are battling out in Congo after the aftermath of an Ebola outbreak. The CDC must be able to get blood samples in order to come up with treatment for the Ebola strain. With 6 warring factions, and 2 international groups in action, this makes getting blood samples even more difficult.

To book your slots for the event, you will need to visit the Events section of Evike.com. The regular price is US$50 but if you book early, you get to have the early bird price of US$35 which covers event entry, wrist band/raffle ticket and a donation to the Leukemia Society. Deadline for booking your slots will be on the 1st of May 2014. Walk-in registrations are not allowed.

Once you have selected your faction and booked your ticket, make sure you  follow the requirements and prepare the uniform for your faction as it will be strictly enforced.  Here is the full list of requirements:
