Logan

Now going back to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (COD MW2) stories, besides that many PC gamers felt being screwed by the Infinity Ward-Activision due to the utter frustrations of them gamers with the multiplayer version of COD MW2, which until now, many of the issues they have such as dedicated servers, cheats, game balancing, and other features remained answered. There is war brewing on internally.

The founders of Infinity Ward Jason West and Vince Zampella have filed a lawsuit against Activision, which bought Infinity Ward in 2003 for 30% of the company and the remainder afterwards, and has given them creative freedom in managing the company and its game titles. The two are seeking royalties from COD MW2. They claim that they were terminated weeks (actually terminated in 01 March) before receiving royalties from COD MW2, in effect, they felt they got screwed by Activision.

And within the Infinity Ward Studios, the game developers are feeling some tension as Activion sent some "bouncers" as they investigate some "insubordination issues" within the studio, making them feel "freaked out", and  maybe low morale among them.

Now, the battle begins with the suit filed by the two founders, it will now be about royalties, and who owns the copyright to COD series. It seems that Activision is desperate to find documents that they are now talking to Electronic Arts, the 800-lb gorilla in the gaming industry, and they might bring the the COD title to the company.

All these you can read at Modern Warfail 2. Let the battle begin!
