We're now on the second week of the Nominations period of the 3rd Airsoft Players' Choice Awards and so far, the usual suspects have been nominated already and there might be some changes in the finalist list as compared to last year if the trend we're seeing in the responses continue. But suffice to say the list of nominees are even more diversified this year as compared in the last two years. And that's making as happy as more and more airsoft stuff are now being noticed and nominated.

It's also this time that we would like to remind you that Popular Airsoft, being the organiser of this, is disqualified from being nominated. We thank all those who have nominated us, but unfortunately, your nomination will not be counted. Rest assured that your nominees in other categories will be counted.

As we have explained before, being nominated to any of the categories doesn't guarantee a slot in the final voting round. Only the top 5 nominees (nominees with the most number of nominations) will be included in the voting period which will take place after the end of the nomination period.  This means that you have to put more effort in getting your nominee (if you're behind the campaign for a certain nominee) to be also nominated by other airsoft players.

So what do you have to do? Well, the most basic team is to cajole your airsoft team mates or the airsoft community that you are active in to help get the word out for others to nominate your favourite. As for how creative you shall be, we'll leave it all up to you, even if you need to create a Super PAC just to push hard for your nominee.

There are 18 days left for nomination period, so that's 18 days to find ways of putting your nominee in the top 5 of the category you're interested in. As long as your nominee has a USP (or Unique Selling Point, not the gun), then the chances are higher.

Don't let your guard down then,  as others may just grab that slot. Get the word out for airsoft players to nominate.
