In the build-up for the release of Battlefield 3 Video Game which will be on the 25th of October (U.S. release), EA came up with a webseries of videos having involving some NFL stars: Quarterback Drew Brees, Linebacker Clay Matthews, Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and Defensive End Jared Allen as a team that will be trained to conduct combat scenarios that take inspiration from Battlefield 3.

Called "Battlefield 3 Operation Gridiron" the football stars, big, strong, and fast in the football field, needed to be trained first by some SpecOPs people. So far, this webseries started last October 13, and now on its 3rd Episode. The first three episodes show how the players progress through their training, then the 4th Episode will be a simulated combat mission for them next week that will be timed on the game's release day and aired on Spike TV.
