The SA-C05 is part of the CORE range and is aimed at beginner airsoft players or experienced players wishing to acquire a reliable electric replica at a lower cost. The attractive price combined with the ESA system (quick power spring change) and its manufacture with high quality materials make it a very popular series.

The body, the SPECIAL FORCE retractable stock and the handle are made of reinforced nylon fiber. Other components, such as the outer barrel, the silencer, the handguard are made of metal. The RRA (ROCK ARMS RIVER) logo and serial number are stamped on the body. The use of a lightweight nylon fiber body has reduced the weight, making it perfect for dynamic games. Additionally, the fiberglass reinforcement makes the body more durable than polymer and metal bodies.

The SA-C05 has two removable flip-up sights revealing a picatinny RIS rail intended to accommodate a red dot or holographic sight. The replica is equipped with a stock adjustable in 6 positions which has two compartments which can accommodate a double stick 9.6v NiMh or 7.4v Li-Po battery. At the front there is a removable metal silencer with a length of 110mm and a diameter of 35mm.
