Testing The Double Bell Drum Magazine

Airsoft Mike compares the Double Bell drum magazine for Glock-series airsoft pistols with a similar model from Armor Works. While both products appear to be "carbon copies" of one another, he points out that the Double Bell version has physical metal tabs that restrict its compatibility to specific pistol models, whereas the Armor Works version is more universal.
To see if the parts are interchangeable, Mike empties the gas and BBs before swapping the magazine headers between the two brands. He notes that while the feeding holes and internal designs have minor differences, the external dimensions and screw points are nearly identical, suggesting they may even originate from the same factory.
The experiment concludes with a successful live-fire test, proving that the hybrid magazine feeds correctly on both semi and full-auto. By swapping the parts, Airsoft Mike demonstrates how users can bypass the Double Bell’s physical restrictions to create a more versatile, all-black drum magazine that fits a wider range of airsoft Glocks.
