Stupid Airsoft talks about a collaboration with Pinty, an optics company that developed a series of "meme" red dot reflex sights inspired by viewer suggestions. The collection consists of four different modern reflex sights, each featuring four unique reticle designs for a total of 16 options. These unconventional reticles include various hand gestures like a middle finger and peace sign, as well as emojis, nuclear symbols, and crosshairs reminiscent of video games like Call of Duty.
Each optic is built with solid construction and includes a protective cover, adjustment tools, and a battery. The sights offer three different color settings—red, green, and blue—with three brightness levels for each. During a close-up demonstration, he points out the clarity of the glass and tests the parallax, confirming that the reticles stay locked on target even when the shooter's head moves out of perfect alignment.
To test the sights in action, he mounts his favorite reticle—the middle finger—onto a PP2K airsoft submachine gun. Despite freezing outdoor temperatures, he conducts a range test to demonstrate the optic's visibility and functionality against various targets. He concludes by praising the company for listening to the community and bringing these humorous, high-quality customization options to both the airsoft and "real steel" shooting markets.
