OptimusPrime

There is still time to book your slots for the first major airsoft event organised by Stirling Airsoft for 2016, Operation Caspian, which will be on the 30th to the 31st of January. Jumpoff will be at the Upper House Farm in Craswall. A magnificent area to do some serious airsoft ops... "At the end of the Cold War, nuclear weapons storage facilities across the former Soviet Union were abandoned and all materials inside transferred to Moscow for processing. During this period of transition several of these weapons were intentionally discarded.

Colonel Alexei Kobalev, a former commander of the Feodosiya nuclear weapons facility in the Crimea, is currently being processed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. It is assessed that Kobalev is responsible for the initial transfer of the RA-115B “Kaskara” device to former Spetsnaz operative Vakha Isakov, who later delivered the device to Grozny before the end of the Cold War.

Kobalev is also one of the few who know exact details of the Kaskara, including manufacturing information, yield and the potential threat it now presents in the hands of African terrorist organisations such as the Knights of Azear and the Azearian State. For these reasons Kobalev has been labelled a public enemy and, for his own safety, been transferred to a remote location somewhere in the Sumy Oblast region of the Ukraine under the protection of the Ukrainian SBU Alpha Group.

Latest intel suggests that a team from the Russian 3rd Spetsnaz Brigade will be deployed across the border to extract Kobalev, while British and American intelligence agencies plan to respond in a similar fashion."
