Sabre Airsoft's Honest Take On The Vorsk VMP-2 GBB

Sabre Airsoft's field experience with the VMP 2D revealed a mix of positive and negative aspects; while acknowledging its competitiveness, particularly for those already using VMP1 accessories like the HPA adapter employed to mitigate cold-weather gas mag inconsistencies, he identified several areas needing improvement.

He encountered accuracy problems due to a loose inner barrel, planned for replacement with a Maple Leaf barrel, and noted ergonomic issues like accidental safety engagement and grip discomfort. The hop-up unit's significant backlash, temporarily fixed with an O-ring, and reported gassing out problems potentially linked to the knocker arm, though only observed with gas mags in garage testing, highlighted design flaws.

Despite these teething issues, common to many gas blowbacks, according to him the VMP-2's budget-friendly nature and readily available parts made it a viable option, prompting him to continue troubleshooting and potentially redesign the hop-up chamber for enhanced performance.
