Mr. Duffo checks the WELL PRO PP-19 SMG which features an out-of-the-box adjustable power system, though getting aftermarket handguards to fit apparently requires a plenty of dremeling and creative swearing. To make the cold metal a bit more hospitable for human skin, the stock has been wrapped in paracord, because nobody enjoys a frozen cheekbone mid-game.
In a display of optimism over physics, the PP-19 was subjected to a cold test in a brisk -12°C Finnish winter. While the gun initially decided that firing was merely a suggestion, it eventually managed to cycle surprisingly well with a warmed-up magazine. The recoil is described as snappy rather than shoulder-breaking, and the hop-up can be adjusted from the outside, which is perfect for those who like to fiddle with their settings while their fingers are slowly turning into icicles.
The 38-round magazines feature a clear window, allowing players to see exactly how many BBs they have left before they inevitably run out. Despite being smaller than standard AK magazines, they carry a surprising amount of weight, which the reviewer finds "weird" but acceptable. While the gun struggled with range in the freezing temperatures, the overall consensus is that it will be a lightweight and agile choice for indoor games—provided you remember to hammer down the top cover spring so it doesn't start eating the internal bolt.
