The U.S.S.R. have been losing ground since the invasion and one of the last strongholds that they still have control is south of Chicago.  Crete is a valuable location for troop and munition movement all across the country. The U.S.S.R. have gotten wind of the impending attack on Crete and are preparing defenses.

Will you join the U.S.S.R. and take the land, or support the U.S. and Wolverines taking back what is theirs?
