Mach Sakai has released an in-depth review of the Marushin Taurus Raging Bull Maxi 8mm BB airsoft revolver, specifically focusing on a used, black heavy-weight model featuring an 8.375-inch barrel. The detailed analysis highlighted the replica's impressive physical specifications, including its substantial weight of 1190g and a total length of 36cm, whilst examining its realistic 6-shot, 8mm cartridge loading system. Key features inspected included the Taurus safety lock, a fully adjustable rear sight, and the trigger mechanism, with measured pull weights of 3447g for double-action and 1164g for single-action firing modes.

During field testing against an APS Cup target at 15 meters, the Raging Bull's 8mm BBs demonstrated a noticeable hop-up effect.
