Lancer Tactical has secured an exclusive global licensing and manufacturing agreement with Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW) to produce airsoft replicas of the MK1 platform. Recently selected by U.S. Special Operations Command for the Combat Assault Rifle (CAR) program, the MK1 will be adapted into a dedicated line of airsoft products. This partnership establishes Lancer Tactical as the sole manufacturer authorized to replicate the platform for the global market.

The product rollout will span three distinct performance categories: High-End Automatic Electric Guns (AEG), High-Pressure Air (HPA) systems, and Gas Blowback Rifles (GBBR). By focusing on these configurations, Lancer Tactical aims to provide 1:1 replicas suitable for professional training and competitive use. Development will prioritize the specific ergonomics and modularity that led to the original rifle's selection by military forces.

According to leadership from both companies, the project centers on replicating the MK1’s functional design, including its accessory integration and handling characteristics. SOLGW noted that the airsoft versions are intended to mirror the soft-shooting nature and durability of the real-world counterpart. This collaboration marks a significant expansion for both brands as they bring the SOCOM-selected platform to the airsoft community.
