"The Browning Hi-Power semi-automatic pistol is a design based on the famous American firearms inventor John Browning, Dieudonné Saive and the improvement and completion of the state-owned factory in Estal, Belgium, and the single-action semi-automatic pistol produced by FN, which fired the most powerful 9×19mm pistol bullets in Europe at that time. Browning started designing in 1926 and died a few years before the design was completed. So Seifer integrated many of Kurt’s patents with the Browning high-power semi-automatic pistol, thereby launching the Seifer-Browning M1928 prototype gun."
