Backstory: Two FEB DBI agents were taken as hostage after a meet by New Dawn Resistance members and US SF. They were placed in a temporary holding area until a US helicopter came into their HLZ to extract them. The FEB military pinpointed their location and attempted a hostage rescue. Many reasons, known and speculated, led to this circumstance: delayed EXFIL (late chopper); pressure on the village by the FEB assault force attempting to recover their men; Capitan Ramirez, the New Dawn Resistance commander, making the unilateral decision to remove the pressure of the assault by taking matters into his own hands; the ODA knew these men were more valuable alive as a means of gathering intelligence and bargaining chips; the US is bound by the Law of Land Warfare and the Geneva Convention in the treatment and care of enemy POWs.

Take a careful look at the expressions on participant faces and their reactions. These guys are immersed into the situation blurring the lines between simulation and reality- they are treating it as real with genuine unscripted reactions.
