"The HK416C, which we will introduce today, is a shorter model of the HK416 developed by the German company H&K. A concept model was unveiled at DESi in 2009, and was later exhibited in its current form at the 2011 SHOT Show. Also known as the HK416 PDW or HK416 Kurz, it uses the same 5.56mm x 45 cartridge as the HK416, and inherits features from the HK416 such as its reliable operation thanks to its short-stroke gas piston.
