GM Tatico presents two full-metal airsoft rifles from E&C: the MK16 in a tan/bronze finish and the slightly longer MK14 in black. He starts with an unboxing, noting that while they share similar internals, they sport different stocks, grips, and rail lengths. He seems particularly relieved to find mid-cap magazines inside, though he still manages to find a few "less-than-ideal" high-cap versions to grumble about later.
The video shows the external build quality, pointing out the M-LOK systems and the functional charging handles that hold the dust cover open for hop-up adjustments. GM Tatico spends a fair amount of time admiring the metallic finish, suggesting that these are for players who want to feel some weight in their hands rather than carrying around something that feels like a plastic toy. He even gives us a quick tutorial on how to close the bolt, just in case pushing a button was too complex.
During the performance test, the black MK14 clocks in at a surprising 417 FPS, leading to suggestions that it could easily be turned into a DMR for those who like to stay far away from the action. Despite some minor struggles with a tight battery fit and a personal vendetta against high-cap magazines, the trigger response earns praise for being snappy even without fancy electronics.
