The last long weekend of the year in the UK will be seeing another big Weekender event with the announcement of Gunman Innovations Airsoft International Weekender. Scheduled from the 22nd to the 24th of August 2014, it will be held at Great Westwood, Kings Langley, just near Watford, Hertfordshire. The rules are strict in terms of ammo usage so check the rules when registering which is now open. Early registrants can get lower fees.

Arrival on Friday 22nd mid morning onwards. Airsoft Battle Weekend 23rd and 24th.

The Weekender includes an on-site bar and multiple airsoft retailers all with plenty of things to tempt you:

Two days to decide the fate of a country, in this Triple Threat Battle weekend. Government Forces are fighting it out against the Separatists seeking
independence, while at the same time PMC forces have been dispatched to the region to safe guard corporate interests from both of the warring factions.

Each of the 3 factions (Government, Separatists & PMC) consists of 3 units:

Assault: The largest and most heavily armed unit, limited to 1,200 rounds per person. Targeted at heavy conflict areas to take and hold key objectives.

Tactical: The second largest unit, limited to 600 rounds per person. Targeted at VIP and asset extraction missions.

Recon: Smallest and lightest armed unit, 120 rounds per person, sniper, pistol and knife. Targeted at sabotage, assassination and intel gathering behind
enemy lines.
