"The G&D DTW M4 RAS II is a great addition to the training weapon line up that combines decent quality with great value for money. These guns feel great in the hand and shoulder, the pistol grip and other parts used are compatible with the real steel dimensions, and although 90% compatible with other brands there are some slight differences.

The hop-up unit differs slightly and should you wish to change for an after market part you will need to change the outer barrel due to the inner barrel dimensions which are different.

Likewise the Mosfet and ECU, again if you decide the change these you will need to change these as whole.

Adjustable sights and stock as standard and features RIS covers for the front RIS system, also included is a after market compatible 100rd magazine and clearing rod.

One thing not included is a long Allen key to adjust the hop-up via the magazine well but these are easily sourced, the motor is a compact DTW motor, again compatible with after market upgrades.

When we tested the DTW range of guns we found that on the blue cylinder the fps was on average 360 fps and on the orange cylinder 420 fps.

We have since downgraded the orange cylinder with a new spring to give an average of 340fps, an option we have added should you wish to have either set up.

The battery we would recommend is a twin leg 7.4v Lipo or 8.4v / 9.6v mini twin leg NiMH battery, damaging the gun through not using the correct battery will void your warranty.

Although not for the inexperienced, the D&G M4 DTW offers a great starter training weapon that will not break the bank."
