Now, for some real serious tactical lessons which goes beyond the usual movements and tactical formations at squad formation that airsoft players usually try to practice. Charles Gaines, guest writing for the Firearms Blog, posts an interesting article. "Infantry Armor Tactics" which explains the weaponry and terrain needed to defeat armored units. Trained infantry units equipped with anti-tank weapons do not necessarily move head-on to counter an armoured attack especially without any armoured support but usually scout for the terrain necessary to be effective such as uneven terrain, higher ground, and closer engagements.

The most dangerous place for armoured units to venture into: urban areas, which was a hard lesson for Russian armored units during the Chechnya War until they had enough unmounted troops and use of anti-aircraft guns that higher elevation to point at high rise buildings to clear the Chechen rebels.
