B&T AG has announced the appointment of Nelson Lau as the Global Director of Licensed Replicas & Non-Firearm Platforms, effective immediately. In this new role, Lau is tasked with the global coordination and oversight of all officially licensed B&T products falling outside the traditional firearm sector. This appointment is designed to streamline the management of the brand’s expanding presence in alternative platforms and training equipment.

The scope of Lau’s responsibilities covers a wide range of hardware, including airsoft and airgun platforms, paintball markers, gel blasters, and inert replica models. His oversight extends to the necessary support systems and consumables, such as BBs, pellets, gas systems, and air compressors. Furthermore, Lau will manage any mechanically or electrically propelled non-firearm products that utilize B&T trademarks or specific design elements.

Beyond product coordination, Lau is authorized to manage licensing approvals, royalty reporting, and alignment between distributors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). He will also lead brand usage compliance and intellectual property protection within these categories, with Archwick Co. Ltd. assisting in IP registrations and enforcement. This organizational change specifically targets the non-firearm sector and does not impact B&T’s internal management of firearms, tactical apparel, or other merchandise categories.
