Vickers MG Collection & Research Association does a comparison of the Bren Gun and the MG42. This is a unique opportunity to witness a side-by-side "mag dump" of the Bren LMG and a Yugoslavian M53 standing in for the MG42. Filmed with a 360 camera for a fully immersive experience (especially with headphones and VR goggles), this video lets you compare the firepower of these historic weapons firsthand. To ensure a fair comparison, the M53 uses a 28-round belt to match the Bren's magazine capacity. Bren is a 1945 Canadian-made Mk 2, while the "MG42" is a post-war Yugoslavian M53, one of their crowdfunding projects.
