Mike Garrett of Black Diamond Airsoft Park in Missouri just sent news over the weekend about their first long weekend event. Called the Soldier of Fortune Challenge, it will be held on the 10th to the 12th of May and they'll be putting the G&G CM16 Raider through its paces. "Black Diamond Airsoft Presents : The Soldier of Fortune Challenge May 10th – 12th 2013. 24 Hours of intense Airsoft Action located in the heart of the Ozarks. Black Diamond Airsoft and The Missouri Festival Park occupy 40 Acres of prime Ozark Land with nearly 20 acres of Woodland, and several open fields, The Americana Grill, an Outdoor Stage for Entertainment and Mission Briefings, and plenty of room for camping.

Will you be tasked with assassinating a member of another squad, Rescuing a downed pilot deep in hostile territory, or perhaps a visiting VIP needs a security detail or your employer simply needs a discreet photo taken without the subjects knowledge. These and many more missions await you during this challenging week end of airsoft.

The Event starts off Friday Night with a Concert and Social Mixer to allow you to get to know your fellow Players and obtain special Mission Intel that could be the Key to winning. Saturday Morning the Mission Briefing and Team Encampment Assignments will be given as well as equipment Demos and Special Guest Speakers. At Noon the action begins and starts 24 hours of combat. The Ultimate goal is to solve the riddle of what Happened the Day of the Election  and make the choice "Do you turn over the info or help suppress it", Micro Missions will be given throughout the event to keep teams on their toes and provide extra opportunities for prizes. Sunday brings the Finale to the Apocalypse and Awards Presentations. After the Post Mission Briefing on the Main Stage the After Noon will include Entertainment, more Gear Demos, Speakers, and Prizes."
