Need a Chicom chest rig for some reenactment? Check this Begadi item... "All modern chestrigs / recon harnesses hail from the chicom and its derivates. Based on asian design, this rig was available in many designs, for AK/SKS, with or or without holder for "potato mashers" or canteen/bayonett frogs. One thing all chicoms had in common was their simplicity in design and their rugged quality. Nearly all chicoms were fight-load-carriers only, with no space 'wasted' for existence-load.

Our version is for the SKS carbine. Its chambered for 9 SKS clips plus 1 RGO grenade or 10 20rd M16 (m16 VN) mags. Due its design, other mags wont fit, unfortunatly. The rig is made from heavy cotton-duck canvas and leather, with metal clips and wooden (bamboo) buttons for the pouches.

The rig is a 1:1 version of the classic, including choice of material, design, style of seams, etc. The only thing different from the (used) originals are the lack of inside markings in chinese letters and its brand new condition!"
