ASTKilo23: Perun M14 AEG MOSFET

ASTKilo23 goes over the Perun MOSFET for Tokyo Marui-style M14 airsoft rifles that offers a way to fix that mushy trigger feeling without requiring a degree in mechanical engineering. This drop-in unit comes with all the soldering already finished, which is a relief for anyone who tends to treat a soldering iron like a hot magic wand. It even includes a tiny sticker sheet with a QR code, a reference card, and a very skinny Allen key for those who enjoy making microscopic adjustments.

Installing the device is surprisingly straightforward since you don't actually have to remove the gearbox from the upper receiver. After some light disassembly and a bit of careful wire management, the board slides onto the left side of the gearbox. The host of the video demonstrates the process on a G&P M14, proving that even if your motor wires were originally soldered on directly, a little patience and a steady hand can get the new connections in place without too much drama.

Once the hardware is set, the fun begins with mechanical and electronic tuning. You can adjust the break force, pre-travel, and over-travel to make the trigger as crisp as a fresh autumn leaf. The MOSFET also features a programming mode where you can set up anything from five-round bursts to a "DMR mode" that forces a delay between shots, perfect for when you want to pretend you're a patient sniper rather than someone just spraying plastic beads into the bushes.
