Airsoft Action Magazine Announce Issue 184 Available Online
OptimusPrime
17 Mar 2026
Issue 184 marks a significant transition for Airsoft Action as the original management team prepares to depart. After nearly sixteen years of consistent publication, founders Bill and Nige are stepping back to pursue personal interests and airsoft-specific passion projects. This milestone issue serves as a handover to a new editorial team tasked with managing the next phase of the magazine and its digital platforms, while retaining the existing roster of long-term contributors.
To commemorate this change in leadership, the current issue adopts a modified format. Bill, Stewbacca, Dan, and Miguel lead the editorial content with focused discussions on AEGs, gas blowbacks (GBBs), optics, and tactical gear. Specific features include Dan’s technical analysis of optics performance, Stewbacca and Military Anny’s examination of Acetech and Jtech products, and a site revisit to Evike Outpost in Las Vegas by Boycie.
The publication concludes its current era with a comprehensive annual report from the IWA trade show and a retrospective featuring members of the AA Legion. Past and present writers provide insights into the magazine’s development and its impact on the airsoft community. Following this "swansong issue," the magazine will enter a brief operational pause before returning under its new management structure to continue its regular publication schedule.
