The team from 4UAD Smart Airsoft traveled to Iloilo City, Philippines, to bridge the gap between their sterile laboratory testing and the unpredictable chaos of real-world competition, the IPSC Action Air World Shoot 2025. Their primary goal was to field-test the Magnus Pro by observing how high-level athletes handle gear under the influence of adrenaline. While they could measure mechanical tolerances back home, they found that kidnapping an "Airsoft Surgeon" like Clarence Lai for a guided tour provided much better insights than any spreadsheet ever could.

The event itself resembled a high-stakes puzzle marathon where shooters of all ages navigated thirty distinct stages, including simulated office rooms and even a boat. Between the intense math of hit factors and the constant threat of disqualification for safety violations, the atmosphere was a mix of professional focus and festive energy. The organisers of the event provided a warm welcome, though the team noted the local hospitality and drinks were so sweet they might actually pose a greater long-term health risk than the competition itself.

Beyond the shooting ranges, the trip offered a deep dive into Filipino culture, from its Spanish colonial architecture to its robust seafood-heavy diet. The crew returned with valuable data on equipment failure points and ergonomic needs, leading to final refinements in their product design, such as zero-wobble barrel clamps and intuitive hop-up adjustments.
