The 4UAD Smart Airsoft guys start a review with a gloriously over-the-top action movie intro involving "Sam the Violator" and tactical gear, completely setting the tone for the highly scientific, utterly serious 30-minute ordeal that follows, where a team of dedicated nerds subjects a Maruyama ISO 556 airsoft gun to a barrage of rigorous, data-driven tests—including being clamped in a vice, shot by a "Quantum Trigger Bot" to eliminate human error, and dunked into a temperature chamber that definitely looks like a repurposed mini-fridge.
After all the tedious measuring of hop-up, range, and gas efficiency (which yielded a hilariously nice 69 shots), they determine that the rifle is fantastic, but not before delivering the true critical flaw: the QD sling slot on the stock is completely non-functional because the factory used a screw that was two millimeters too long, confirming that the most heroic part of the airsoft experience is finding the perfect, tiny replacement fastener.
