Kang Doel 3D Printed Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Review

Kang Doel tries an M24-style bolt-action sniper rifle that is almost entirely 3D-printed. This unique project belongs to a friend who requested some technical TLC, specifically to address a magazine that had a habit of making an unannounced exit during use. The builder has refined the hop-up system and tightened up the magazine catch, ensuring the rifle actually stays in one piece when you decide to pull the trigger.

The rifle’s construction is a mix of clever engineering and DIY charm, featuring a 3D-printed body, trigger, and receiver. While the print lines are visible if you get uncomfortably close, the overall finish is tidy enough to pass a casual glance. It even includes a surprisingly soft shoulder pad that feels like it’s hiding a secret layer of foam for extra comfort. The barrel setup mimics the look of a heavy anti-material rifle, giving it a bit of a tough guy persona despite being remarkably lightweight.

During the performance test, the spring-powered unit clocked in at a respectable 423 FPS with standard BBs. The owner was advised to stick with heavier ammunition for better accuracy, though a full long-range test was thwarted by the classic enemy of outdoor hobbies: rain. While it might not be ready for a monsoon, this plastic-powered marksman is back in action and significantly less likely to drop its own parts on the floor.
